We’re pleased to welcome Emma and Dean Gibbons at Gibbons Commercial, to the VIA community.

Based in Wairau Valley, Auckland, Gibbons Commercial specialises in importing and selling quality used commercial trucks, where Emma, Dean, and the team work closely with customers to provide reliable vehicles that meet the demands of New Zealand businesses.

Gibbons Commercial joined VIA to be part of a united voice that can influence positive change across the sector.

“I was drawn to VIA’s proactive, solutions-focused approach and its commitment to ensuring the industry is well-represented and prepared for future challenges,” Emma says.

Through VIA, Emma aims to share insights from the used commercial vehicle sector, provide feedback on policy, and support initiatives that improve transparency, efficiency, and collaboration.

She is particularly passionate about fair, practical legislation, reducing unnecessary red tape, and using data and insights to boost industry performance.

Outside of work, Emma has a passion for interiors and property renovation, enjoying the transformation of spaces from start to finish. When it’s time to unwind, you’ll often find her by the ocean, walking along the beach with her dog.
